About Fountain Court
Fountain Court is a lovely
residential community in Salem, Oregon for active practicing
Christian Scientists.
Fountain Court has 13 one-bedroom and 3 two-bedroom apartments, including a
guest apartment, built around a landscaped courtyard. Both
upper and lower level apartments open onto the courtyard. An
elevator provides easy access to both floors.

All
apartments are rented unfurnished: the kitchens are equipped
with refrigerators and electric stoves. Living rooms and
bedrooms are fully carpeted and include drapes. All utilities
are furnished except phone, cable TV and internet.
Three meals are provided daily:
lunch and supper are served
in the central dining area.
Weekly housekeeping and laundry service for personal bed linens and towels is provided at Fountain Court. Residents are responsible for
their individual laundry. A laundry room is on the premises.
A group activity is provided
weekly.
Fountain Court operates a 14-passenger mini-bus. The local
Christian Science Church is located 3 blocks from the Court;
the Christian Science Reading Room is located in downtown Salem.
Transportation is provided for church services, meetings and
local lectures. In addition, residents may choose 2 local
trips per week for shopping, salon services and Reading Room.
Occasional trips to local events and sites of interest may be
provided.
City buses operate from stops near the court, and for
seniors, low-cost city-provided transportation is available.
Christian Scientists who are members of a branch church or The
Mother Church are invited to apply for admission to Fountain
Court. Please contact us for making arrangements to visit, or
