Our property on Fir Street is up for sale, but we are still open for business as a Christian Science housing complex with amenities.

Apartments for Christian Scientists will rent for $500/month on a month-to-month basis. A live-in manager on the premises will offer transportation to church and shopping. A laundry room is available for your use. We no longer offer food and housekeeping services.

Two furnished guest apartments are offered for $20/night.

Our grounds, kitchen, dining and meeting rooms are available for a modest fee.

We are on the path of envisioning new possibilities – whether it be a smaller residential complex, or (in partnership with others), some form of residential center with various levels of living and care. We are thinking very openly right now, examining many avenues and listening for ideas – and we’d like to hear yours! Please feel free to contact us.

We Welcome You to Fountain Court
Fountain Court is a residential community in Salem, Oregon for active, practicing Christian Scientists of any age. It was established in 1985 as a non-profit corporation.

Fountain Court apartments are moderately priced, well below similar for-profit facilities in the area. Rental is on a monthly basis, with no buy-in fee.  Full-time management lives on the premises. The local Christian Science Church is located 3 blocks from the Fountain Court Apartments and transportation is provided for church services, meetings and local lectures.

Salem is a city of about 150,000 population, located less than 50 miles south of Portland in the heart of picturesque Willamette Valley. The Pacific Ocean is only an hour’s drive to the west with many miles of public beaches and parks. The mild ocean climate adds to the livability of the area. Salem as the capital of Oregon, is also home to Willamette University and Chemeketa Community College and offers a variety of cultural, educational and recreational activities.

More than just an apartment complex, Fountain Court is a gracious and loving home to residents as they nurture and strengthen their relationship with God.
